Martha Garvey, a widely recognized artist hailing from Southern California, is renowned for her unique artistic process. As the seventh of eight children raised in Escondido, California, Martha developed an unwavering passion for beauty and nature. She meticulously sources treasured glass from estate and garage sales, breaking it down and tumbling it for 18 hours before incorporating the pieces into her stunning art. Through a combination of color, texture, shells, and tumbled glass, Martha creates captivating beach- and nature-themed pieces that can be proudly displayed in windows or on walls. She affectionately refers to this process as “Perfectly Imperfect” Notably, her loyal feline companion Mikko has been a constant presence, perched on her shoulder as she diligently crafts her masterpieces.
